MLA Southern California Chapter

The Music Library Association (MLA) is a national organization which promotes the establishment, growth and use of music libraries and encourages the development of music librarianship as a profession. MLA SCC, the Southern California Chapter promotes cooperation among music librarians and among libraries within Southern California, from San Diego to Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean to the Colorado River.

After a very successful joint meeting with the MLA NCC, 84% of the MLA SCC membership voted to pursue a merger with our colleagues and friends to the North.  Stay tuned for updates in the coming months.
